Hands-on STEM, built for real classrooms.

I'm Alex Roman — a veteran STEM educator and lifelong tinkerer. I design hands-on, project-based curriculum for schools, and I help edtech companies build the lessons and training that get their technology into real classrooms.

Hi, I’m Alex,

I've spent my career at the intersection of teaching and technology — in the classroom as a math and science teacher, and behind the scenes building the kind of hands-on STEM experiences that actually stick with students.

I believe technology in education should do more than sit on a shelf or impress on a tour. It should get students thinking, building, and solving real problems. Whether I'm working with a school to design curriculum or with a company to make their hardware genuinely teachable, my job is the same: turn good technology into great learning.

How I can help

STEM Curriculum Development — for schools Standards-aligned, project-based curriculum built around hands-on learning. From robotics and 3D design to engineering and real-world design challenges, I help schools turn equipment and ambition into lessons students actually remember — and that teachers feel confident leading.

Curriculum & Teacher Training — for EdTech companies Selling 3D printers, scanners, or other classroom technology? Great hardware doesn't win schools on its own — teachers need ready-to-use lessons, training, and support to say yes and keep using it. I speak both teacher and tech, so I build the curriculum, classroom-ready content, and educator training that make your product adoptable, teachable, and sticky in real schools.
